Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Lancashire Digital Design website and our professional services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. Lancashire Digital Design is a web design and digital creative studio based in Lancashire, UK, providing services to clients across the whole of the United Kingdom.

2. Services

Lancashire Digital Design provides the following services: • Web Design & Development • Brand Identity & Logo Design • Digital Strategy & Consultancy • Motion Design & Animation • Ongoing website hosting and maintenance packages All services are subject to a separate written agreement or proposal. Scope, timelines, and pricing will be confirmed in writing before work commences. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.

3. Payments & Pricing

Projects start from £300, with specific pricing detailed in individual proposals. Hosting packages are available from £20–£30 per month depending on requirements. A deposit (typically 50% of the project value) is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon project completion or as otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur a charge of 8% above the Bank of England base rate per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998. All prices are in GBP (£) and are subject to VAT where applicable.

4. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, all final deliverables (designs, code, and assets) are transferred to the client. Lancashire Digital Design retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any third-party assets, fonts, stock images, or plugins used in a project are subject to their own licensing terms. It is the client's responsibility to ensure ongoing compliance with such licences.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, content, and materials required for the project in a timely manner. Delays caused by late supply of content or feedback may affect agreed timelines. Clients are responsible for ensuring any content supplied does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, is not defamatory, and complies with applicable laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

Lancashire Digital Design's total liability to a client shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific project in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of business, profits, or data. We make every effort to ensure websites function correctly across modern browsers, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with all devices, browsers, or third-party systems.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Lancashire Digital Design complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal data collected through our website (such as enquiry form submissions) is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties without your consent. 8. Cookie Policy

Our website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience and analyse site traffic. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Either party may terminate a project by providing written notice. In the event of termination, the client will be invoiced for all work completed to date. Deposits are non-refundable unless Lancashire Digital Design is unable to commence work. For hosting services, either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
